Arrows Mining, founded with a well focused aim of becoming a Quality Blasting Company and a superlative technical excavation construction contractor, taken a first step by working with Project like Break Water Construction – Quarry Project of M/s. Besix-kier, Dabhol S.A. at Dabhol, Ph II LNG Terminal Project of M/s. Dabhol Power Company.
Working with two great global company [BESIX –KIER] has reinforced our vision and commitment towards laying foundation of our company with quality concept, a thrust for competence, project management systems coupled with attitude of International Standards of SAFETY, QUALITY AND SCALE OF PROJECT OPERATION.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS :
We have executed drilling and blasting works, operating 10 numbers of Crawl Air Drill rigs of Atlas Copco / Ingersoll Rand breaking 9 million tons of rock, one of the biggest construction stone quarry and blasting site of its time, meeting international standards of expectations, subsequently we have been honored by international firms like Besix and Kier for our standards of operation and safety practice.
- We have executed legal compliance works right from construction of explosive magazines, under form-22 license (2 nos) 5000 kgs & 7000 kgs each, with a procurement capacity of 40,000 kgs plus per Calendar Month-each Magazine Built in succession (obtaining explosive magazine license, Form-38 ANFO license & explosive van license).
- Assisted in choice & source of explosives, Compliance of Indian Explosives Rules & Act, incorporation of the quarry under Mines Act 1952 & execution for drilling and Blasting Job work. Operating with 10 Nos. Drill, recorded peak productivity of @ 17,500 Cu.M. /day and 36500 drill meters per month.
- Development stage blasting work includes ,Haul Road, bench formation, Monsoon Drainage Trenches, Pre-splitting, Line drilling, Secondary Blasting etc. controlled and cautious blasting for road work right through village hutments connecting the quarry site , Subsequently main focus of the blasting has been quality of blast fragmentation, suitable for crusher, core & mainly armor (for construction of break-water) with rock type of hard to moderate basalt.
- An explosives quantity of 2,70,000 kgs plus, emulsion packaged explosives, 3,20,000 mtrs plus Shock tubes has been used (the largest user of shock tubes in a construction quarry site of its time) for blasting operation carried in 800 plus blasting shots[primary ] and 1600 secondary shots including controlled and cautious blasting with total safety.
- Breaking 9 million tons of rock approximately with Blast Vibration Monitoring Analysis has been part of each blast using INSTANTEL’S DS-077 Minimate Seismograph (3 Nos.) in addition to digital photographs and video clips for technical analysis.

After founding ‘ARROWS’ in 1999 Operated various projects of Rock Excavation, Quarry , Controlled and Cautious Blasting, Breaking 1.5 + MILLION TONNES OF ROCK with Technically Superlative Standards. Ravi a ‘NON-WORKAHOLIC ‘is CONTENT, OBJECTIVE & PEOPLE Oriented, Operates by the traits of ‘Effective & Efficient’ Initiatives, Explores New kind of progress & BELIEVES IN SLOW AND STEADY PROGRESS.
